위 글에 있는 예제 소스로 확인시 이벤트 핸들러 동작 정상적으로 되는부분 확인했습니다.  
파이썬 예제로는 user16님이 작성해주신 예제방법대로 사용을 해야할것 같습니다.

제환경은 window11, 64비트 파이선은 3.12 64비트 입니다.
